Baby Steps WILL Get You There!

July October 2013 097 150x150 Baby Steps WILL Get You There!So I was all excited and motivated and stuff. Then I realized my 2 month old isn’t sleeping through the night and I don’t have quite as much energy when I’m getting up 1-2 times a night every night. She still sleeps and she’s such an angel of a baby, but I’m still getting up at night with her.

 

And then my almost 4 year old decided that he also July October 2013 073 e1381530818796 300x300 Baby Steps WILL Get You There!was not interested in sleeping through the night. We have had very few problems with him getting up at night but suddenly he was just getting up and coming into our room to say “Hi, it’s dark outside.” And really important stuff like that. He’s smart and adorable and I love him to pieces, but I just want him to stay in his bed (unless there is really something wrong, of course.) And then on the first night that the 4 year old decided to sleep through the night again the 2 year old woke up crying for no apparent reason. Whaaaaa! Now I want to cry.

So…I’m pretty tired. And all that motivation I had sort of sat down on the couch and took a nap. But I have been trying. At least with the meal plan. I’ve probably hit 3-4 days a week where I’m pretty good about staying on track. That’s nowhere close to where I want to be, but it’s a start. And I have to begin somewhere. And even though I haven’t been as strict as I wanted to be and I haven’t set foot in the gym at all yet I’M STILL LOSING INCHES. I was shocked when I measured myself the other day to see that I’d lost more than an inch off my waist! Just with a few days a week of using the LM4 meal plan/detox.
